Do CPUs have drivers and updates like motherboards and GPUs do?

Also, what's "chipset" driver, and is there any difference in getting it from the motherboard manufacturer's webpage or getting it from AMD's page?

CPU's don't have drivers per se- this is covered by two things, the motherboard bios (if you upgrade to a newer cpu you may need to update the bios first, if having issues it's also worth trying updating to latest version, otherwise I'd leave it alone), and the chipset drivers.

It's best to get the chipset driver directly from AMD, as its likely going to be more up to date than the version hosted on the motherboard manufactures site.

Almost all hardware has drivers, although some can be run by Microsoft default drivers.

its the software interface between the motherboard and windows. It lets windows know what its got to work with.
AMD are more likely to be up to date, although there is a new BIOS due for all X570 boards next month that might need a newer version installed again.

Chipset has several functions, you can think of it as several chips in one. Likewise chipset driver also consists of several (in case of Ryzen 6-8) drivers in one package. Newest drivers are usually on AMD site.
PU drivers are part of Windows and other compatible OSs

i don't know what you would get there, CPU alone don't have drivers... APU might but CPU don't. You don't have onboard graphics on CPU.

Update: Affected PCs will require a motherboard system BIOS (sBIOS) update containing enhanced modules for fTPM interaction with SPIROM. AMD expects that flashable customer sBIOS files to be available starting in early May, 2022.

Store MI was a nice inclusion imo back when it was first released. It's a bit pointless now though.
