ive been shopping around for my frist build and have pretty much decided on everything. my only question is this: my mobo supports memory at 1.8V but my memory is rated at 2.0V. is this a compatability issue? has anyone run these two prducts together with positive/negative results?

thanks for any advice. this is my first build and i am trying to learn as much as possible so as not to waste my money.

The memory link you are showing show 2.2v.
I don't own the motherboard. Usually you can increase the voltage manually up to a certain degree. The manual for that motherboard should specify how much you can increase it in the Bios.

You can change the voltage, to the rated of the RAM. 1.8V is the "standard" or lowest required for DDR2 (533) RAM.

so you're saying the lowest the motherboard will go is 1.8v but has the ability to go higher? i.e. 2.2v?
