Let me just say that: no I didn't search the forum for this as I have not been able to figure out how to do that here at Toms community.

My problem is in windows explorer, sometimes (~50%) when expanding or shrinking directorie trees, the stupid thing does the job followed by immediately undoing the job.

It really torks me off when I click the - next to the C drive tree top, and then it looks as if it is minusing then suddenly it plusses again leaving me where I started.

I'm sure this will sound like gibberish to anyone it hasn't happened to, but I just can't stand it anymore. Feel free to probe me with questions as I haven't include any system details, since I don't even know where to begin on this one.

Sorry about the lengthiness.

try a different mouse, maybe the button sticks and make sure there is nothing on the keyboard, it sounds like 50% of the time your mouse double clicks when you only want to do it once.
when all else fails CTRL + ALT + delete and close everything that youre not using
