I don't want to spam the groups, but here's a reminder... you have
until Sunday to vote on the titles in the StupidTitleComp. I didn't
announce this on rgif before, so here is my reminder in a more proper
place.

Read more about it and vote at:

http://www.springthing.net/2005/vote.htm

If you have problems voting, please feel free to send your votes by
email to springthing X charter Y net (X=@, Y=.). Some problems have
been reported, but I am hesitant to fix them while the voting is
underway. I will fix them in time for the Spring Thing voting.

The votes have been very divergent. Every game has received both high
votes and low votes. Just for fun, I did a little calculation and found
out that the titles in the comp have an average standard deviation of
2.7, enough to beat nearly any Golden Banana winner. All the more
reason to get as many voters as possible.

I decided to leave it ambiguous. Stupid can mean just simply bad, or
stupid in a clever, amusing sense. Whichever you think is appropriate.

I just submitted all my votes.

My only problem was that I thought some of the titles were pretty amusing,
but because they didn't actually qualify as a "dumb" title (more
"absurd"), I had to rate them low.

The ones I hated the most, thinking, "Boy, that's stupid", I had to rate
highly.

Now my head hurts.

That must be the stupidest thing about this whole contest... and I mean
that as a compliment.
