I built my computer about a year and a half ago. Recently, it has started stuttering in games like CS: GO and it has had some audio stutters when listening to music on spotify. My FPS and ping in game is always normal. I have monitored the usage of my CPU and memory and they seem fine. Sometimes, the sound completely stops or turns into a "beeping" noise when in game. The problem is very annoying and I have been wondering what could cause it. I have thought about the dust buildup being the source of this problem but I don't think it could cause this big of an issue. Thank you in advance.

I'm fairly new to the pc building community, but have a little advice. When you hear those beeps does your motherboard display an error code/debug led? If you have built in mobo sound, it could be damaged, in this case you could need a new motherboard. A possible and simple answer could be a short in an auxilary or hdmi cable. Try replacing those, and see if the problem persists. That's all the advice I can offer however. Good luck!

Edit: just thought about it, and you could simply need to update your audio driver. So try that as well.
