Hello.
So I bought GTA V after having played it before in this PC and now the game is working TERRIBLY!. Before I could run the game at 50-60Fps at medium settings and I had little to no stutter. Now the game runs at 40-55fps with the lowest settings with DX10.1 and stutters, a lot.
The game stutters, with FPS drops to 10 or 5 fps every a few seconds, cutscenes get bugged and characters stop moving (yet other stuff is still happening), audio gets desynced with the cutscenes (the game will freeze but the audio will keep going) and lots of other WEIRD stuff happens, for example, when I finished the intro I had to wait for the game to load for 5 minutes to show a not-rendered world, and let me control Franklin while the screen was gray, before loading the next cutscene of Michael.
My specs:
- Motherboard: MSI H110M Pro-VH Plus (MS-7A15) (U3E1)
- CPU: Intel Pentium G4400 @ 3.32GHz (Dual Core, 2 threads, 3MB Cache)
- GPU: ASUS Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 Dual OC (2GB DDR5 VRAM, Clocked @ 1404MHz)
- RAM: Crucial CT4G4DFS824A.C8FBD2 2x4GB DDR4 @ 2400MHz
- HDD: Western Digital WDC WD10EZEX-21WN4A0 (SATA 7200 RPM) (931GB)
- OS: Windows 10 Pro 64 Bits
Note: I use Razer Cortex to run the game, and I pretty much close every software and some services, including explorer.exe to liberate as much RAM as possible.
Before you say "Get a better CPU 2 cores won't work", "get more RAM you can't do anything with 8", read again, because as I've told you, the game used to run well before, apart from that, I've seen various benchmarks with similar specs or even worst specs running the game flawlessly even while recording/streaming.
Thanks for any help that I may get.
