Recently I brought a new PC I Didn't spend much on it.

Specs
I3-3240

4GB DDR3 SO-Dimms (Laptop Ram)

1X Seagate 500GB Hard Drive
1X Western Digital Caviar 500GB Hard Drive

Asus R9 270 DirectCU II

580Watt PSU

Asus H61M Motherboard that is modified from Asus hence Laptop ram

This was pre built system I added extra to increase performance but every time I get into a game its fine for 2-3 minutes then the it goes from 50 fps to 20 then it goes back to 50 fps for 10 to 20 seconds

Battlefield 4 is all set to ultra 1920x1080p

I have tried updating drivers, I have done windows updates, and also updated the game.( i have even tried fixing the game with origin game fixer.

My R9 270 is Not OEM it is Asus DirectCU II it is not overheating in BF4 is does not exceed temparture over 65 Degrees full load and it plays other games very well.

Sorry about that i miss understood what would i have to do? maybe add a fan in my case maybe

AMD drivers up to date?

please run 3dmark (firestrike) and post the link of the result, which comes up at the end of the benchmark.

don´t think an I3 and a 270 can display constantly 50fps on ultra. Set the bf4 settings to medium / high
even a I7 just got this out of the 270:

the VRMs on Intel systems are not a problem. The 3240 just has a TDP of 55W, an AMD CPU in comparison 125W+, which needs more and cooler VRMs.

Anyone???

Like I said, please post the link, not a screenshot 😉

but found it anyway 😀

That looks fine to me. BF4 all on ultra with the i3 dual core and the R9 270 is the bottleneck, eventually in addition with the RAM of 4GB working in single channel. With a quadcore, like a I5-3470 and R9 280, you would get a bit more stable fps on ultra.

Which BIOS version is installed? flash to 0901 in BIOS, not in windows!

For now, test different graphics settings in BF4.
like anti aliasing deferred to off
