Hey guys,

Up until a month ago my pc was fine, everything ran on high or max graphics without any trouble and the pc didn't stutter.
But since last month every game I run stutters and runs at 30 fps and lower, even easy stuff like hearthstone is stuttering for quite a while.
I myself think that it has to do with the HD, since my GPU (ASUS STRIX GTX970) is only 2 months old and the rest of my system should be ok too.

Spec:
CPU: 2500K Intel
Memory: 4GB 1600-999 Vengeance K2 COR
PSU: Sharkoon WPM500 500W ATX
HD: Samsung 2TB HD204UI F4EG SA2

Hope you guys can help me out :)

I just did all that and it had no effect, still thanks for the tips. Finally a reason to do all that instead of postponing it :)

RAM usage is never higher than 61% for example when playing Hearthstone, and my GPU stays on a stable 41 Celsius, but the performance is still stuttery / slow. Can you perhaps tell me whether performance can be affected by the HD being damaged somehow?

Check CPU / GPU Usage
Check 12V rail quality use multimeter, because weakest parts in you PC is PSU I do not know this company and not see any legit test.
Edit: I find your PSU brand is rated as tier five = possible fire hazard * junk PSU. http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/id-2547993/psu-tier-list.html
I strongly advise you buy new PSU if you do not want risk damage your PC. Unplug your GPU and do not use until change PSU * you can also check your GPU on different PC but before this check PSU on list linked earlier 😉

You entire Issue is mos liekly because unstable 12V line on PSU.

If you mean the GPU driver, currently I am using the 347.88 Drivers.

Just switched it with my Corsair RM PSU from my other build, but still having the same problem. Will remember to avoid using the Sharkoon PSU, but I think there's nothing wrong with the Sharkoon one 😛 Have been using it for almost 2 years without any issue.

To exclude driver issues

Use this http://www.guru3d.com/content-page/guru3d-driver-sweeper.html
And follow instruction :
Use the official uninstaller(s) of the driver(s) you want to uninstall.
Reboot your PC in Safe Mode.
Run Driver Sweeper and select what to clean.
Analyse lists all the entries possible to remove, cleaning removes the entries selected.
Reboot to normal mode.
Install fresh drivers.

If this not solve, try check GPU on another PC if issue will be this same = your GPU was damaged maybe from factory or by PSU :)
