[SOLVED] Stuttering in games and unstable FPS

So, my computer always runned the games that i wanted to play without any problems. Until this week....

Everything was fine untill I decided to do some cleaning inside, after I done cleaning and turned the pc back on, games that I always played were struggling to run on any graphic settings, even if I lowered the graphics the FPS would still not improve. I'm getting about 100fps on CS:GO but when I start to play it drops to 10, increase to 100 and so on.

(The audio of the pc outside the game when i'm playing also have some cutting sounds and a little crackling)

I tried to update the drivers and nothing worked. After that, I reinstalled Windows and deleted everything and still nothing changed. Any thoughts about what I did wrong and how to fix it??

The monitor is plugged in the gpu as it always was.
The GPU temperature is normal around 30° C
The CPU is VERY high, around 95° C

You think if I re-apply thermal paste it could fix it?

did you took the cpu cooler off to clean?
yes, redo the thermal paste

Look carefully at the cooler mount. Sometimes they can be knocked loose when working inside the case or worse the mounting can be broken/cracked.

Well, I reapplied the thermal paste but still get some high temperatures in the CPU, but the main problem that was the FPS was fixed. Thanks for the help!
