Hi All,

I am facing major issue in my gaming Rig.

When i play games or any streaming movie or video. in between its stuttering. i am not sure what its called stuttering or tearing or whatever.

Right now i am playing Walking dead season 1 game at 165HZ and when camera moves slowly in cinematic scene. I see screen gets teared or slow moving and game scene gets shaking in the monitor but FPS never drops. it always around 160.

I am not sure why it is happening while playing video games or watching any video.

Vsync is adaptive in NVidia control panel settings. Tried to on/off the GPU sync. But it didn't helped anything

Game mode is OFF in Windows. Latest GeForce drivers.

My monitor is Acer XB271HU (GPU sync compatible overclock till 165HZ)

My specs as per my signature.

In the Nvidia Control Panel under "manage 3D settings," ensure that:
  1. "Max Frame Rate" is set to "165"
  2. "Monitor Technology" is set to "G-Sync"
  3. "Vertical Sync" is set to "Fast"
Didn't help anything?

any other suggestions?

even my video is stuttering. Don't know if video is like this or some problem to my pc.

because some video is working like charm on YouTube 2k@165hz

Is it a completely new build or was it already working and at some time the stuttering started ?
Check the running apps with the task-manager, if something is using too much CPU.
Already checked no one is hogging the cpu

and its 6 month old build but started using recently and before sometime ai have watched movies on Netflix. It was smooth as crystal clear

now in some scenes where camera is moving slowly. I see that everyone is tearing in that scene. Its visible even from long distance.

When the symptoms started, do you remember, if you added some additional apps or hardware (could be anything like new keyboard, new mouse, any other usb-hardware, changing any cable and so on)?
Perhaps antivir-software or corsair iCUE etc.?

I am using firefox-browser, and there is a point in settings for "use hardware acceleration". Take a look into your browser settings.

After this I do not have any more ideas, sorry.

My vsync-settings in nvidia-control is something like "use 3d-apps settings" ( my installation is German, and not sure how it looks like in English).
