Stuttering/Lag Accross all games

Hey, ive been gone from my computer a bit and i used to play arma and squad on it and all these games would run perfectly, now i come back and my pc is slow laggy and stuttering
Have tried updating drivers, cleaning hdd, and overclocking, even resetting that overclock, and the issues are still present and really bad.

I have seen videos of people running games on high settings or even low without this tear using my setup so i am absolutely confused now

Please help me with this.

Specs:
Intel I5 4690k 3.50GHz
RAM 8GB (2x4)
Nvidia GTX 960 4GB

you are talking about the same games right? havent used your PC for about a week?
have you tried reseating your hardware? shutdown. unplug power cable. turn off PSU. remove GPU. remove all RAMs. put them all back in again. and boot. and see if it bring back your normal performance.
