Hello, and thanks for reading!
I recently upgraded from an i7-7700k to a Ryzen 5600X. Current PC specs are below:
MSI B450 Gaming Plus Max
Ryzen 5600X
GTX 980 TI Gold Edition
2x8GB 3200MHZ
SSDs, NVMe, etc.
I have a 144hz main monitor and I notice when I have a small window that does not take the whole screen, if it is my current window, my mouse will stutter very sharply if I move it across my desktop, or any other program that is not currently the main window. As soon as I click on a new window, or on the desktop, the mouse becomes smooth within that window, or on the desktop, respectively.
I figure this is a resource management feature, but I can't seem to find any information on it online. Any ideas as to where to look would be appreciated.
Thank you.
