Hi, I have a MIIX 3-1030 with windows 10. I'm using Gimp and Autodesk Sketchbook. have a wacom bamboo stylus and adonit mini also.
none of these styluses (stylii) work. when I try to draw i don't get a continuous line. either it leaves a broken line or it scrolls the page. finger works fine for drawing. Is this a problem or fact/part of life. meaning is this solvable by some system-settings or by buying some other stylus.
( Just for info : I am aware of it being a capacitative screen and for my desktop I am using a cintiq.).

1) You should have gotten a Surface Pro device 😉
2) You might be able to fix the line issue by going to the touch settings and forcing the touch to be recognized as a mouse, but it'll end up disabling all major touch functionality. Windows 10 actually knows the difference between pen and "i'm pretending to be a pen"

I searched all (visible) settings of 'mouse and touch' and touch&pen but could not find the option where I could change the "forcing the touch to be recognized as a mouse". If you can guide me walk me to that I shall be most grateful i dont mind the disabling of other touch functionality.

If it's not in the drivers (or it uses the default touch drivers), then you are out of luck on 10. If you just bought the lenovo return it and get a real tablet like the surface pro (or surface 3 even!)

It came with win8.1. will it help if go back and reinstall 8.1. sorry if I am draging this too long. my gut feeling says this is a toy but I would like to give a last try. BTW when i try one of the DIY styluses ( wet sponge/foam etc it works fine but the tip is too clumsy to draw :).
