Hello,

My Wacom Bamboo Ink Stylus works okay while my computer is on battery. However, when I plug my notebook in the tracking significantly less precise: it will lose track of the pen tip while I lift the pen from the screen to make another stroke, causing the touch screen to pick up my hand input, also when start to write 90% of the time it will pick up my hand first before the stylus. Both of these problems make the stylus virtually useless while charging.

I have checked my bluetooth drivers which are apparently up to date, I have gone through the power settings but cannot find anything related to the pen, under the device manager I have deselected the option "allow the computer to turn this device of to save power" for the bluetooth controller.

I do not have a high performance setting for this computer. The only option I have is "Balanced" I can create a custom power setting but it doesn't allow me to increase processing power or performance settings as far as I know. Under advanced settings it only allows me preferences for display, sleep, desktop background, power button and lid, and battery.

Updated my Intel Bluetooth driver. For the record I checked for updates even with the Intel software beforehand and it randomly prompted me with an update this morning. An update from 04/2017.
