Sub hook-up problems. HELP!!!

My Sony receiver has a jack for the sub that I believe is RCA. My subwoofer is wired. Is there anything I can do aside from buy a new sub? Please help. Thanks!

Visit your local radio shack type store and get a couple of rca jacks that attach to wires. Such as:

I'm assuming that your sub doesn't have a built in amp. If that is the case then you will need an amp for it. If your receiver sends any power to the sub channel, it isn't going to be enough to power it. Could you tell us what receiver you have? It could help us help you.
