sub woofer not working

I have 5.1 Sony home theatre system HT-M22 I realised today that my SW is not working anymore. I checked the connections and tried everything its just not working..could it be a fuse?

If there is a set up menu on your main unit check that the sub is turned on and the level is not all the way down.
You can connect the sub cabinet to the left or right front output and see if you get sound. If not then the sub itself is blown and needs a new speaker installed. If it does work then the sub amplifier in the main unit is at fault. If you remove the top you can check if there are any fuses.
