Substitute motherboard for this

I have an hp elitedesk 800 g1 SFF desktop, but my motherboard got fried and now im looking for a better motherboard that can fit well with this case..

What is the SKU for your hp elitedesk 800 g1 SFF prebuilt unit? There are a number of boards, from HP, for that case. You can pick an SSF system for much less.

if you use a 3 party mb your restore software wont work as it linked to the bios of the mb. same may go when you power on for the first time your windows 10 may not activate.
