Subtle grey lines in monitor.

My screen has subtle lines going across it, and they fade a littlebit to the other side. I have tested on multiple cables and the problem occurs on all of them. Also I tried with another screen and the problem wasn\t on that monitor. What could it be and is there a fix for it?

How old is your monitor and what type is it? Can you attach that monitor to another PC to see if the issue persists? It sounds like you have some bad pixels.

Yes sorry I forgot to mention, about the type.
the monitor is Asus 27" m279h, It's an IPS monitor. I havent tried connecting it to another PC yet, However even when my PC is off, and the monitor has the blue screen for like 3 seconds, I can still see the lines. SO the problem is definetly in the monitor not my GPU.
