[SOLVED] Subwoofer not making bass when on 5.1 mode on asus xonar u5

I have an ASUS TUF A15 FA506 laptop, to which I connected a 5.1 Logitech Z607 speaker system through a ASUS Xonar U5 usb sound card, using 3(2RCA to 1*3.5mm) to connect the speakers to the card. Everything works well, except the subwoofer when on the 5.1 mode both on the speakers and on the sound card. It just does not do anything. However, it works just fine on 2.1 modes.

I have the latest version of ASUS Sonic Studio, which is the only software I found provided on ASUS's website, installed on my computer.

I would return the asus U5 for a new one if you can. The subwoofer obviously works but the soundcard that is supposed to drive it is not doing so. So either you are missing something very obvious or the USB card does not work properly.
