Subwoofer not working

I have a mirage subwoofer and I have been listening to music on it. Out of nowhere it started making weird sounds and then stopped working. The green light is on and I checked all the connections. I have no idea what’s wrong. The end of my cables are kind of darkened not know if that will have something to do with it. Any help is appreciated.

Try a different cable. Make sure the subwoofer output of your HTS is still turned on. That will be in the speaker set up menu.
The most common failure mode on subs is the amplifier. You can remove that from the cabinet with a screwdriver. They rarely have fuses but no harm in taking a look. Many companies offer reasonable replacement or repair of the amp.
