[SOLVED] [SubWoofers] Can one RCA output be split into two RCA using adapter?

Hey guys,

So my sub-woofer system got bust today. Out of the two female RCA audio out connectors (the red and the white ones), red one isn't working, which means one speaker has no audio (both speakers work fine, I tested them by plugging into the working RCA).

I found this connector on amazon: https://www.amazon.in/gp/product/B08KQJJZBT, does it help me split the working RCA female port into two separate RCA ports so that I could use both speakers?

Or should I just toss the whole sound system and buy a new one?

Thank you,
Naser.

Solution
It's from iBall. The model name is Raaga Q9.
Power supply 230v/50hz.
Output voltage 9v
Output electric current 1A
Consumption Power: 12W
Consumption Electric Current 0.039A

That's everything on the label :)

Both the speakers are working. I have tested them out individually by connecting them inside the "white working audio out".

this one works :)
you can use any splitter, theres barely any load on cables at all, 12watts thats fine 😉
but u might want 2 splitters
once from 2x rca female to 1x rca male (stereo to mono) and one 1x rca male to 2x rca female (from mono to stereo)
so...
"Out of the two female RCA audio out connectors "
USUALLY they are AUDIO IN connectors on a subwoofer.

"which means one speaker has no audio "
USUALLY a subwoofer has ONE speaker. Yours has 2?
more info might be needed
speakers are powered from sub or they have its own amplifier?

Sorry for any confusion. Perhaps this image of my sub-woofer might help provide more detail.

The circled audio output is not working. I was wondering if there's a solution (maybe this one https://www.amazon.in/gp/product/B08KQJJZBT) to use the white audio out to split into two audio outs so that I could use both of my speakers.

no image :/
audo can be split, but u will reduce available power to speakers, so instead of let say 1x200watt u get 2x100watt (as long as splitter can handle such load)

Ah great.....thanks for the pic. What is the make and model?....I can't make out the label.

So the sub would have two amps as well then....I would assume. Do you know this? It's also possible it could have one.

So one speaker isn't working....the other is.

if this was for me than its auna 300sw, it has only 300watt amp for its own woofer, from inputs it takes only low frequencies and pass through rest to speakers
so from pre amp it goes to sub from sub to speakers, speakers gets power from amp, even if sub is in between, it doesnt modify anything to it (maybe tiny added resistance), but no amps/volume on speakers from sub
there are subs wihich can amp speakers aswell, this one is just to enhance bass that it takes from front speakers

Thank you for the suggestion, so this one : https://www.amazon.in/gp/product/B08KQJJZBT goes to the second splitter end, right?

Just want to confirm you have ruled out the WIRE from the red output to a speaker as being faulty or not. You know the speakers are good by using them both from the white output, which means that also that wire is good, so use that same wire on the RED output to a speaker. If you still get nothing, then a splitter off the white will get you signal to both speakers, but it will be MONO.. left + left.. no right audio.
