Sudden absolute nothing left

Yesterday, I was just browsing the internet like I usually do, but when I went to msi.com, bit defender blocked it. I don't know why, but I proceeded to the website, but I got redirected to somewhere. I never actually went to the page, I immediately closed it as soon as the url bar said MSI.com/redirect. And ever scene the, My CPU just idles at 80% doing absolutely nothing. I cant play YouTube past 144p, not even 144p sometimes. nothing is actually happening in the background. My a4 6300 used to be able to run everything except games, but now it barley passes windows. I just recently upgraded it with an ssd and wireless card, but I wouldn't think that would do anything. Did I actually somehow get a virus or malware? If so, then what should I do?

Nevermind, I found out the cause. Just did a scan with a premium trial of malwarebytes, ended up finding 50 threats.
