Sudden artifacting while surfing, minimal use of laptop.

My laptop suddenly artifacts at random times even at minimal usage... I didn't change anything hardware/software in the past months... only thing noteworthy to say is that i had a gpu reflow last March but it worked without problem just up until now.

What is the probable cause? Laptop is beyond warranty as it is a 2008 r61i lenovo thinkpad

well what temps do you have for cpu and vga? laptops suffer from insuficient cooling.

it is constantly at 74c

that doesnt sound that bad. what monitoring program do you use?
