Sudden drop in FPS

Hey, I recently bought a gtx 970 and start playing witcher 3. I got 50-60fps. then I through geforce experience did a optimalization for that game and game sits at 55-60 fps and without flickering. I didn't play for a day and now suddenly I got around 30-40 fps without changing anything.. Suggestions why this happened?

You should also check the temperature and clocks of your GPU under full load. It might be downclocking to cool itself.

It doesn't, temps ends around 72°C.

No, I uninstalled Mortal Kombat and fps went to normal.

'Cause I'm having the same problem (few hours ago all worked fine, now I get 40ish fps)... Maybe I should look for a game that I can uninstall

Well I uninstalled it because it was the new software that may caused it. And it was not original. So I tried the delete new change from the system and it worked somehow. Not perfectly, but worked..
