Basically i built my first computer a couple of days ago.
Specs: i7 7700k
Aorus gtx 1080 ti extreme
Aorus 270x gaming 7
G.skillz tridentz rgb 3200
Samsung 960 Evo 500 gb
Corsair h100i v2
EVGA 850 G2
Phanteks Enthoo Evolv

The only game I've played so far is wow because I haven't gotten around to others yet and Wow had been runny at a solid 90+ FPS on max settings until today. The FPS has dropped into the 50s and I am noticing a little "stutter" in the gameplay. Anyone have an idea what could be going on?

Thanks

I'd lean towards either windows or other updates running in the background or a temp issue. Download MSI afterburner to monitor temps. Restart Computer if temps fine and see if it could be an update issue. New builds run into that from time to time

Exactly what Supahos said.

Honestly, i have a really dusty room. It gets so dusty in my case that it raises my GPU's Hybrid temp 5+ degrees. Sometimes i don't even clean the inside of my computer until weeks later. When it gets really bad (months and months), my graphics card starts stuttering and FPS spiking randomly. It'll even just stay at a solid 20 FPS in places when it should be getting 60.

Then i clean it off, and it all stops.

So it could be that, too. lol
