Here are my specs :
CPU - Core i7 2600k (not OC'ed)
RAM - Corsair Dominator 2x4GB
MOBO - Asus Sabertooth P67
GPU - Asus GTX 660ti
PSU - Seasonic 650w Gold
HDD - 2x Crucial 120gb | 2x 1tb WD blue
CPU COOLER - Corsair h80i
OS - Win7 Ultimate
All are at stock and the rig has never been OC'ed even once. It's about 4yrs old now.
This is my first time posting this. Recently my computer had strange slowdowns. I was running photoshop, corel draw and google chrome. Mostly it hogs all the RAM but it's fine I don't experience slowdowns.
I ignored it like at least for 2 days and now on cold boot after an hour my computer freezes. The cursor the keyboard everything is not working. I had to force it to shut down and turned it on, after that the PC won't boot. The mobo light is stuck at the CPU LED. I tried resetting the cmos, drained the power completely and removed the RAM and HDD leaving only 1 DIMM STICK the SSD with the OS installed.
After various attempts it started to work, the mobo light continued to RAM LED and I continued from there. Did a memtest, all was okay. I plugged everything back in and it booted to windows. Then again! after an hour the whole scenario repeated. -_-"
Can anyone of you help me here? I'm running out of ideas.
