Sudden network problems.

Hello.
I've recently replaced my MOBO (to the same one) and reinstalled the system.
Now, I'm getting some problems with my wired network, it never happened to me before:

- The network takes forever to connect after reboot.
- It often shows an uplugged cable and then connects randomly.
- Often shows a yellow exclamation mark and after some time will connect back.

I've reinstalled drivers multiple times.
I tried changing all kinds of power settings.
Windows updates are still going if that means anything.
I can't seem to sync my system time with the internet.
I've restarted the router and checked the cable.

Any tutorials on what else to do?

Be sure you are using the latest W10 LAN driver from the Mobo's vendor.

Well that's one big variable out of the way.

Lately more "bad ethernet cable" than I expected so that's that.

I would still want the Win7 LAN driver from the Mobo's vendor, not Microsoft.

Yeah I have downloaded it from Asus' website.

That's weird, I changed the network cable and the issue seems to be fixed. Even though the old cable worked fine for the last year.

Always start with the most basic things, physical faults and hardware........ Things break!
