Sudden reboots?

Hey guys,

My computer has suddenly begun to create these instant and completely unpreditcable reboots. I usually get about 5-10 minutes, even on desktop work, when it suddenly decides to make an instant reboot of the system.

Anyone got an idea as to WHY this happens!? 🙁

Lack of power from the Power Supply?

Need to update my Mainboard BIOS and/or drivers?

ANY ideas/help would be much appreciated...

My RAM?

Why? And how would you suggest I could test this out?

Here's my system:

2x512 MB PC3200 184-pin Crucial Ram
Pentium4 3.0 Ghz CPU
MSI 865PE NEO2-FIS2R Mainboard
SmartCooler Ultrasilent 300W PSU
Samsung Spinpoint SP1614N Harddisk
Samsung 21" 1100DF Digital Monitor CRT
GeForce FX 5900 XT Graphics Card

Perhaps this'll give a few more clues?

Oh, and I tried to update both my Mainboard BIOS and Chipset drivers etc., but that didn't do the trick.

Tried using my old monitor (I got the Samsung monitor just yesterday), but that didn't work either.

*SIGH!*

I'm open to suggestions...

I would think that 300w power supply would be suspect, even if you're not overclocking. I'm using that board with a 300w sparkle ps, and it does the same thing if I overclock too much. If you replace it, stick with antec, enermax, sparkle (fortron), enlight, seasonic, or pc power and cooling. I've updated the bios twice, and no change. But run memtest first before getting a new ps.
