Hey guys
Recently, I bought a rig with a GTX 970 running on a i5 4690k. When i started, it ran Counter Strike: Global Offensive perfectly fine, obviously smooth with high FPS. Then, suddenly there was heaps of screen tearing. I dont know what caused it but around the time it started, I tried to use a VPN and the uninstalled it so I have a gut feeling that it has got something to do with it.
Unfortunately, I myself am not A1 with computers so I am considering just reformatting my computer. Its not a hardware issue for sure because it did run fine initially and I cant be bothered to find out exactly what has caused it and find a solution.
My question is, before I reformat my computer, do you guys think that reformatting will solve my problem? I am very annoyed that I spent 2.5k making a computer and now it wont run a basic game like Counter Strike properly 🙁
(BTW, offline games, like Watch Dogs, runs perfectly fine without screen tearing)
Thanks for your help guys, I really appericate it!
