Hello, my PC has been fine since I bought it (2yrs ago)
2-3 outta 5 times powering on And within 20mins (normally when everything has loaded from being off(like mornings) the computer has this problem BUT those times it works.. It's good for hours
it starts to become unresponsive (the mouse still works) but, System Tray, File Explorer and Task Manager and also the Restart, Shutdown options do not respond to clicks or opening the apps/tasks or even right clicking on desktop.

Basically when I get up to turn it on of a morning it doesn't work for the first try....
But sometimes happens through the day... But normally Its when I leave it idle.
If I use it constant (normally) it's fine.

So when it happens I am forced to hard restart with the power button.

But... If I open file Explorer (like primary drive and just click in and out, or scroll through the files, and open internet Explorer and just click in and out of the system tray... It seems to work,
Sorta like warming up a car... (if i don't, I get the above problem)
I think once or twice it still became unresponsive whilst with the "warm up"

It started about just over a week ago.

In that time I have updated my GPU, I will check.. But I doubt.

When posting a thread of troubleshooting nature, it's customary to include your full system's specs. Please list the specs to your build like so:
CPU:
CPU cooler:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:
include the age of the PSU apart from it's make and model. BIOS version for your motherboard at this moment of time.

I noticed you have your specs mentioned in your sig space. Please include the specs to your build in your thread's body as sig space specs can and will change over time. When that happens, this thread and it's relevant suggestions will be rendered moot to the end user in the same boat as you're in now.

It started about just over a week ago.
Did this crop up after an update? If you're using an AIO, see if the radiator is cold to the touch but the block is the only thing that's hot.

It's quite a simple fan ontop of a heatink
It's only crashed three times in 3yrs which I find to be due to heat

I'd show a picture of my cooler but I actually can't find the "insert" button to add the image

It's an Air Cooler

Bios version 310 29/9/2022

The PSU is probs around 3 years old

(doesn't sound right) but it's like 50% of the time it'll be right and the other 50% is when certain things become unresponsive, music still plays, some things sorta open.. Like weather widget

It's just weird because, I haven't changed anything!
Besides GPU driver update.
And possibly a system update.. But normally I do that manually
