Hey all, so this is my first post here, and I'm hoping you could help. A week ago, my wife was playing PUBG while listening to music on YouTube. As she was in the lobby counting down to get in the plane, she hit escape to pause the game, changed the video on YouTube, then returned to the game which promptly crashed. Since then, whenever we try to start the game, it crashes right after the developer logo screen.

We've troubleshooted every which way we can think of, from uninstalling and deleting the files from the C drive and AppData folder then reinstalling and validating, to manipulating the game settings ini file, to replacing the ini files with ones from a friend's computer who hasn't had any issues. I ran the memory test and the RAM results came back as fine. I "repaired' the C++ files in systemx86. I uninstalled and clean reinstalled drivers countless times. I checked the .net and its up to date. I ram Furmark to test the GPU and went to the Nvidia control panel to change the power option to performance mode.

I tried the Witcher 3 to see if it was just PUBG, and this won't load past the developer screen either. After the dev screen, the game is either non-responsive and I have to exit from the task manager (PUBG), or the screens blink black and the game crashes on its own (Witcher 3). Skyrim seems to work. Team Fortress 2 works, but when I click away from the screen, my monitors spaz out.

I'd just recently built this PC. It's been with me for about 2 weeks now. I had it for a week and reveled in the new world of PC gaming before a bunch of games stopped working. I've submit tickets with the respective developers, but its been a week and I've heard nothing. This is all really stressful on my wife and I and we'd really love to get this back up and running as soon as possible. Does anyone have any recommendations or troubleshooting tips?

No, it's an EVGA GQ. Yeah, I used DDU to uninstall, then did an install of the latest Nvidia drivers. I also "repaired" the C++ files.

A friend is assuming it might be some type of hardware, but if it was hardware, there'd be some type of other indicator, right? I'm only having issues with video games. I ran tests on the hardware with Furmark and Aida64 and it all seems fine.

I don't have another GPU. I removed my GPU and ran games on integrated graphics, and all was fine. I'm going to assume it's some strange hardware issue. and I'm reaching out to EVGA for a product replacement.
