Suddenly ethernet connection stopped working

Hello,
I've got a problem with my ethernet connection. This afternoon everything was running fine, then I went to the city, PC was in standby and now I can't get my ethernet connection to work properly. I already restarted the router and reinstalled the ethernet driver. DHCP and everything is working alright on the router and all other LAN or WLAN connections have no problems. Any ideas what I can try?

Go to control panel and un-install our ethernet card. Shut windows down and then power up. Windows will find your ethernet card again and install the drivers for it. Good Luck.
