Hi,

I currently have a Ryzen 3 1300X processor. I am looking to upgrade to a better processor. I am looking for a CPU that supports 1080P gaming.

I am planning to switch to Intel.

Can someone please suggest a good CPU and MOBO under 18 to 20 K that supports 1080 P gaming. I am also looking it to support my further upgrade of Graphic Card.

My other Specs:

GPU 1050TI
PSU ANTEC VP 550
RAM COSAIR 2*8 GB (16 GB)
Kingston 2*500 GB SSD

Why Intel? What motherboard do you have now? Dropping in a 5800X3D may give you the same performance gain without needing to buy a new motherboard.
I heard that Intel is durable than Ryzen. However my MOBO has issues and needs to be replaced. Can you suggest a good AMD MOBO and Ryzen processor for 20000. And also a Intel Combo.

Thats not true. Either cpu will likely outlive the system.

However, if you need a new motherboard anyway it doesn't matter.
Can you suggest a good AMD Processer under 15K and a MOBO

-F series cpu requires discrete graphics but since you listed a 1050ti that's a way for you to save a bit there. This is as modern a balance as I could find. You may also consider an i3 12100 with a cheap mb.
Hi Thanks.

1) I see both the Processor are of same price. Can you confirm which is best in these 2.
2) If I spend 2 to 3 K more on processor, can you suggest one that is better than these 2.
3) Can you suggest a Budget MOBO with BT please

Based on your budget and requirements for 1080p gaming, here are some suggestions for a CPU and motherboard combo from Intel:

  1. Intel Core i5-9400F Processor: The Intel Core i5-9400F is a 9th generation, 6-core, 6-thread processor with a base clock speed of 2.9 GHz and a maximum turbo boost speed of 4.1 GHz. It does not have integrated graphics, but since you already have a dedicated GPU (1050 Ti), this won't be an issue for you. It's a solid choice for 1080p gaming and offers good performance for its price.
  2. Gigabyte B365M DS3H Motherboard: The Gigabyte B365M DS3H is a micro-ATX motherboard that supports 9th and 8th generation Intel processors. It has four DDR4 DIMM slots supporting up to 64GB of RAM, one PCIe x16 slot for your GPU, and multiple USB and SATA ports for connectivity.
These components should work well with your existing GPU (1050 Ti), PSU (Antec VP 550), RAM (Corsair 2x8GB), and SSDs (Kingston 2x500GB), and provide a good upgrade for 1080p gaming. However, please note that availability and prices of computer components may vary depending on your location and local market conditions, so it's always a good idea to check with local retailers or online stores for the latest prices and availability.

Thanks. Can you also please help on below query.

1) Is 11400F better than 9400F. In my location 11400F is less priced than 9400F.
2) 11400F vs R5 5500 which would be the better choice to performs well with 1050 TI.
3) Which Brand is good in MOBO (Gigabyte or MSI or AS Rock)

The 11400f is a lot stronger than the 9400f

The 11400f and the R 5 5500 are quite similar in performance. Both have 6 cores and 12 threads.

You can have good or bad luck with any of those motherboard brands. I would concentrate on desired features on the motherboards that are within your budget.

Can you suggest a MOBO for 11400F and R5 5500 under 10000 INR
