Suggest a gud grafix card..

i donno much bout the grafix card stuffs.. i own a dell studio xps system with the following config..

core i7 920 @ 2.67ghz
6gb ddr3 ram
dell 23" monitor s2309w 1920x1080 with dvi connector
ati hd 3450 256 mb
400w power supply
640gb sata hdd

i'm into animation field and i feel like i need to upgrade my grafix card.. suggest me a gud one for my use (rendering and all) under 100$..is there any need for looking specs like ddr3, pci, sli etc etc for grafix cards..i donno bout them.. suggest gud one tat fits perfectly for my monitor and without any hardware conflicts..also tell how much memory (256mb, 512mb 1gb etc)

need i change my power supply?? if so can i get one tat fits my dell cabinet..

I'll suggest one when you use "oo" instead of "u" and phrase your questions as questions instead of demands.

If you are making a living off of animation you will probably need a professional card which will be somewhere in the range of $500-$2000. I don't understand why dell ships such crappy cards with their systems.. All specs of the card you use will depend on what programs you are using. Please give an example.

For that resolution and gaming we would be generally talking about something in the 4870/gtx260 or better and around 1gb versions at that. A work station card in that level would be about $1000.

for renderindering, ull need the best card you can get your hands on, but rendering cards cost an arm and a leg so no sub $100 but the best gaming card for sub $100 is hd4850 512, if you want 1gb then 4830 should fit you.

i use 3ds max 2009 and maya 2008.. plz tell watz the difference between gaming cards and rendering cards..performance wise too..

Gaming cards are good at playing games(ex:geforce).....
Rendering cards are good at making games and video editing etc etc(ex:quadro)....
