Question Suggest a new System

Hello All,
I want to build a new system, so looking for suggestion. My budget is approx 450-500 USD.
Need suggestion regarding CPU, MObo, RAM and optional graphic card. I already have a case, SSD and others. I prefer intel cpu.
I use Adobe products a lot, photo and video editing sometimes. I am not a gamer, but i might play sometimes.

Do you need a psu? What form factor is your case?
Amd offers much more value at this price point.
6 core 12 thread for $10 less than a 4 core 4 thread I5. Will cream thag I3 in video editing

The AMD cpu has 2 more cores and 10 more threads than the I5. It also can overclock on the included motherboard and led cooler, something the I5 cannot do. The ram is limited to 2666 for intel, but not for AMD.

All of this combined means AMD will be better at video editing and comparable at photo editing as the i5. This cpu is a little weeker dor gaming, but you wont notice this with the 1660.

Ok. I would uograde your psu since the vs550 is low quality. Id suggest a cx550m for this budget.

The AMD looks impressive. I never used AMD. I use Windows 10 64b. Some of the software I use daily are Dreamweaver, Adobe photoshop, sometimes lightroom and Premier pro, Visual Studio, over 20 browser windows/tabs etc
Please suggest a cheaper Graphic Card.
One more question regarding the RAM, 1x16 GB is better or 2x8GB.

I am checking the price online with regards to your suggestions.

Well I had never used AMD before untill least year. I now use a Ryzen CPU daily and am impressed with just how much performance i get. My cpu cost $65 and performs like a Core I3 8100 which is $125.

2x8gb generally delivers better performance compared to 1x16 since it has double the bandwidth available.

For a video card I would suggest a GTX 1060 6gb. It still performs very well.
