Hello,

I want a computer for video editing. I use video effects like fading, zoom, pan etc... audio, narration in my videos.

I haven't set my budget because I really don't know how much it costs for what I'm looking for so you tell me the best configuration:

I need
CPU
RAM
HDD
Motherboard
PSU
GPU (not sure it is required or not )

If there is anything else then also let me know.

you can use any computer for video editting, it all depends on how much of a beast you want it to be and the software you want to use.

If you give a budget Im sure people will suggest a good setup.

If you dont know what softwarew you want or how much money you want to send, if money is no object get a I7 6700k for $360, 32gb ram (speed really wont make a big difference) a 3tb HDD and a 500gb SSD, Z170 motherboard.... probably get a decent setup for $1000-1300

For less money you can get away with an 8350 for $140, most video editting software are one of the fewer things that does take advantage of multiple cores and makes up the difference so an Intel I5. With an 8350 setup... you can get away with $700-900
