suggest cpu for build.

hi,
i want planning on upgrading my pc from amd fx to inter kabylake. I am going to use my old GTX 970 for in my new build (no plans of upgrading gpu yet).
Now i am confused between i7 7700k and i5 7600k, i was thinking of going with 7700k but i am pretty sure my gtx 970 will be a bottleneck, so now i am thinking of going for the 7600k. my sole purpose of the pc is just gaming. Please suggest me what to go for.

PS. budget is fixed, so going for the 7600k will allow me to get some more stuff, maybe bigger ssd, but thats no important.

Gaming with a 970 AND 7600K is a great choice.

the pc is just for gaming. now please tell me what advantages i will get if i went it ryzen r5 1600 over the 7600k or 7700k.

Over the 7700k nothing.

Over a 7600k there are already instances where a 7600k gets choked up, this will only increase over time. It's also cheaper to do a 1600/b350 setup than a 7600k build so you can drop more on a gpu.
