Suggest me..for better performance

Hi evry1,
this is my PC configration..
1. Intel i7 4930k Octa Core 3.40GHZ 12MB Cache(4th Genration)
2. Nvidia GTX 760 2GB
3. Kingston 16GB 1866Mhz Ram
4. Asus Sabertooth x79 Motherboard upto 64GB ram support
5. WD 2TB (Pro)Hard Dirive
6. Cooler Master 750Watt Gold Power Supply

Plz suggest m any change in my pc for 4k editing..
I use Premire Pro for Edit, Davinci Resolve for CC and Nuke for compositing
I notice in my lasy project my PC was getting slow during Editing in Premire but in resolve and Nuke PC was very smooth..
What should i do? Ram upgrade? or Graphics Card upgrade or should use SSD on primry instead of HDD?

a ssd would help with the overall feel of the pc yes but not with gaming. it's cheap to get one. you could use a graphics card upgrade too.

p.s. that's plenty of ram, no reason to upgrade

You could try getting a nice aftermarket CPU cooler then overclocking your CPU

Basically the only things you should do are:
1) Get a real power supply, the seasonic snow silent 750 or even Corsair RM750x
2) Upgrade your primary drive to a Samsung 850EVO 500gb for use as the software and scratch disk. If you want, you can get two of them, one for software and scratch, one for working files
3) If you want to also game you can upgrade to a gtx 1070
4) Upgrading to 32gb or 64gb ram will help for 4K video
5) Consider a x61 or H100i cooler to help overclock the chip to 4GHz+

And today i bought samsung 850 pro 256GB SSD
but d'nt know how to install fresh window on it..
plzz help m as soon as possible..

Just unplug your HDD first and connect your new SSD to primary one. And then enable AHCI support in BIOS.

Then install Windows in it. During installtion select this drive for OS installation and you're done.

I had 4 window os DVD and 1 of them was only bootabe..
I tried them all and at last bootable DVD got boot and then window was installed in just 6min 😱 !!!!
SSD is Awesome!!!

2x GTX 760 for my PC or i should go for GTX 970?
2x 760 would b cheap for m for now..2nd can b arranged in $120-150 but 970 will b $700-800 😱

I tried them all and at last bootable DVD got boot and then window was installed in just 6min 😱 !!!!

GTX 970. Since its way costly in your country, import it. Amazon US Site

PS : Only 6 minutes? That's the fastest I have heard. Whats your boot time to desktop?

Obviously I used Usb 3.0 only and it took around 7-8 minutes.

I was more surprised with the fact that he used DVD media and it took just 6 minutes. Wow!

I click restart button then it came back in 25-35sec
So, it's like 20-25 sec to bootup..

Asus GTX 1060 will cost m $400 6GB
Asus GTX 980 will costa m $750 4GB
GTX 1060 is 2gb more than GTX 980
i wanna go with GTX 1060..
but GTX 980 is costly so, does it means GTX 980 is better than GTX 1060?
Any suggestion?

1060 is about as fast as the 970 so yes, it's a bit slower compared to the 980. much more power efficient though.

The 980 has almost double amount of cuda cores then the 1060. You should look into the benchmarks over the net for video encoding/rendering. But in real life projects, it shouldn't be that of a boost. Consider a 1070 before getting a 980
