Greetings All,

Need suggestion on building a new system including new monitor, budget is around $2800, please recommend me the best brand i can buy

Preferences -
  1. RGB tower case that can include at least 2 Sata HDD (since i have my pictures and important documents from my current PC) - good airflow, easy cable management, spacey and sturdy/sleek/beautiful
  2. i9 Processor
  3. 4x16 RGB Ram
  4. Curve Monitor
  5. NVIDIA graphic card RTX 30 series
  6. M2 SSD 1TB for system
  7. Water Cooling system
  8. Power Supply
  9. MOBO to cater all above
  10. Anything additional that any of you recommend to include
I am planning to buy these all early next year so i am collecting information as much as possible right now

EDIT: Im gonna use this PC mainly for gaming at high settings and Photoshop and Video Editing.. and my current PC lasted me for more than 15years with its Q6600 processor tho its aging right now..

Im looking to build this PC to last atleast another 15 years or more

I can't recommend a psu & gpu without knowing what resolution you plan on gaming. With that said the prices of gpu's are at an insane all time high atm due to the chip shortage along with the internet mining craze.

Hi Thanks for the quick response, ah okay so its better for me to invest on the 12th Gen i7 instead in your opinion? Anyway the case u suggested is out of stock, is there any other alternatives? im thinking like the Corsair case?

as for the RAM, i want the RGB one can u suggest better ones? and the GPU im thinking RTX 3070 so please suggest me a good one along with monitor and PSU

The i9 is a power hog and doesn't score much better than that i7 I linked. Your Q6600 was released in '07 and has 4 cores and w/ no hyperthreading. That i7 has 12 cores and 20 threads. btw for the resolution that monitor you posted is going to require nothing less than an RTX 3080 if you plan on gaming which is going for over $2000 atm and requires an 850w psu. Have a look at this 1440P monitor which will require no less than an RTX 3070 / RTX 3070 Ti and a 650w - 750w psu depending on which card you choose.

Also if your building such a premium system don't go for a budget boot drive. The WD Blue SN550 doesn't have a DRAM, it's not a bad drive but your 12900K would be better served by a nicer drive with a DRAM cache such as:

I think building a PC to last 15 years is very optimistic if you do anything intensive like gaming and productivity stuff. With that being said though if your the sort of person that likes to build your PC and then not have to touch it for a very long time then buying the top chip is not crazy.

After considering some of your suggestions, how about now? I have problem in selecting the PSU... and how many exhaust fans do i need for that case? and that is a bit way for my budget, but i dont mind wait to save another $$ but i would welcome any recommendation to reduce it

If I may, forget the old sata HDDs. With your budget you can easily afford 3TB of SSD storage. 1TB NVMe and 2TB SATA, which should hopefully hold everything from those old drives and allow much more space.

i9 is a waste for gaming and not really needed for video editing or photoshop, you can save a lot by dropping to i7 or i5 and still get great performance for gaming. You will need the money to get an RTX3080 GPU from a scalper. The i5 12600K looks like a very good deal right now.

Hi thank you, yea as per you expert suggested, i have removed the i9 and changed to i7 to my list, as for the sata HDD, its a 6th drive and it contains photos and important documents, if i need to traansfer it all i really need to invest in bigger SSD :(
