Greetings All,

Need suggestion on building a new system including new monitor, budget is around $2800, please recommend me the best brand i can buy

Preferences -
  1. RGB tower case that can include at least 2 Sata HDD (since i have my pictures and important documents from my current PC) - good airflow, easy cable management, spacey and sturdy/sleek/beautiful
  2. i9 Processor
  3. 4x16 RGB Ram
  4. Curve Monitor
  5. NVIDIA graphic card RTX 30 series
  6. M2 SSD 1TB for system
  7. Water Cooling system
  8. Power Supply
  9. MOBO to cater all above
  10. Anything additional that any of you recommend to include
I am planning to buy these all early next year so i am collecting information as much as possible right now

Thank you very much hoping to get replies soon

Stay Safe!

EDIT: Im gonna use this PC mainly for gaming at high settings and Photoshop and Video Editing.. and my current PC lasted me for more than 15years with its Q6600 processor tho its aging right now..

Im looking to build this PC to last atleast another 15 years or more

Sorry what? The one benefit of VA over IPS is the faster refresh rate. IPS panels have lower refresh rates but better viewable angle, colour reproduction and less blur.

VA panels typically have a lower gray to gray response time than IPS do, that makes IPS better at high refresh rates. As you say IPS have better viewing angles but a lower contrast ratio when compared to VA.

No sir. A lower response time equals a better refresh rate. 120Hz VA panels are common, whereas the fastest an IPS panel can manage is 75Hz.

I meant slower response time not lower. If I may so gently, I think you may have mixed up your display technologies there. I use a 165hz Acer Predator XB3 IPS display, Asus offer models up to 360hz. You are correct there are lot's of high refresh rate VA panels, they are also the most common in large sizes. What I'm suggesting is that if you take two monitors one is a 144hz IPS and the other is a 144hz VA, on average the IPS will have the slightly faster response time. It's not always true and some of the best high refresh monitors are VA panels like the Samsung Odyessey G7.

Okay so you all recommend me to just stick with the ASUS 27 inch?

and lastly im gonna purchase the AIO soon but after doing several research i saw other potential AIOs that serve better and cost well than the X73 (im planning to purhcase the X73 RGB) so the price is around $200+

1. https://www.newegg.com/corsair-liqu...E H150i-_-35-181-203-_-Product&quicklink=true

2. https://www.newegg.com/cooler-maste...&ranSiteID=10snU7HFqKs-0dLFGI1S6kSrp.X3QxetFQ

Should i change it to any of these? please recommend any other better ones out there.. there are so many to choose from

The cooling performance between the 3 won't differ significantly so the Cooler Master offers the best cooling performance for your money, however it's apparently the most awkward to wire up and it's RGB software is not as good as Corsair's. I really like the NZXT stuff but I'm not sure whether it's worth the premium, it also performs no better. If it were me I'd probably opt for the Corsair as the good all round option. Your right there are so many, I found it tricky picking one earlier this year.

One thing to keep in mind, although these coolers are listed as compatible with LGA1700, that doesn't necessarily mean they come with the mounting kit that fits the socket. I think some are now shipping with it but it's something to confirm.

Okay thank you for your suggestions! gonna grab it now that corsairs... yea i also like NZXT maybe for the design and hype, but when i googled several recommended AIOs, they are not on the top of the 5 list

It kind of depends on what's most important to you and how much you want to spend. Would you prefer 27" or 32"? Most of the high refresh rate options at 32" are VA panels, there are some IPS options but they are usually significantly more expensive.
To take an example, Asus also do 32" monitors like the below:

When compared to the Asus Tuf you mentioned, that 32" will have better contrast, so deeper blacks making it better for watching movies in the dark. However it will have a slower overall response time than the Asus Tuf, so your more likely to see a slight ghosting effect in fast moving scenes at 170hz. It also wont look quite as good if you are viewing from an angle, for pc gaming where your right in front of it though that's probably not too much of an issue. Whether it's significant enough to bother you I don't know as I don't own one and have never used one. It's a similar situation with the Dell, it's a very nice monitor but similar weaknesses in the reviews about the viewing angles not being amazing, slightly disappointing at high refresh rates.

These are the rtings reviews for the Asus and the Dell:
https://www.rtings.com/monitor/reviews/asus/tuf-gaming-vg27aql1a

In both actually they recommended an alternative if response time was the priority. Most people who buy these monitors are very happy with them, none of them are bad displays by any stretch but they have their pro's and con's. For some playing on a 27" just isn't immersive so they want 32". I can only tell you what I would do, I was in the market recently for a new monitor. I looked at 27", 32", 34" ultrawide and both IPS and VA panels. I ended up going for a 27" 165hz IPS, so if it were me I would lean towards the Asus Tuf or something similar.

Well that is very comprehensive and convincing remarks u made there thank you very much.. im just gonna use it for gaming/pc purpose and not movie at all because i have LGCX for that so with that said im gonna opt the ASUS Tuf as u recommend thanks!

You are very welcome. The Asus seemed a solid option for me, I'm also a big fan of the LG Nano IPS monitors:

https://www.rtings.com/monitor/reviews/lg/27gn850-b

Those are a little bit more but if there are any good deals on those where you live then also an excellent choice.

I bet LG monitor will b pricey than the asus here lol will just stick with ASUS.. gonna get it after i completed my build so still got plenty of time

It means that you would need this additional LGA1700 bracket to properly attach the typical air cooler.

I know NOTHING about liquid coolers. They may or may not require such a bracket.

That mounting bracket is NOT included with the motherboard, but may be available direct from your cooler manufacturer...possibly at no charge.

Or it may be available directly from a retailer like Newegg.

Depends entirely on the cooler brand. I know Noctua and at least one other cooler maker is offering the brackets.

Oh okay so i bought this AIO:

https://www.newegg.com/corsair-liqu...pellix/p/N82E16835181203?Item=N82E16835181203

and it also says there:
  • Extra LGA 1700 brackets required, contact MFR for bracket
and when i clicked the link provided, it leads me to this -> https://www.corsair.com/us/en/Categ...oling/ELITE-Series-Retention-Kit/p/CW-8960093

and it is out of stock? is it possible to use 3rd party mounting?

I'm not sure......but I'd tend to doubt you could use third party.

There may not even be any third party brackets.

Cooler makers tend to have unique mounting methods, so I'd suppose that any LGA1700 brackets would likewise be unique.

Corsair may be able to tell you when stock will be replenished, but then you'd have to decide to believe that.......you would be dead in the water until you had the bracket in your hands.

I wouldn't go for a third party solution. I think you have two choices:

1) Use the existing LGA 1200 bracket with:
https://www.corsair.com/uk/en/Categ...nts/Cooling/LGA1700-Retrofit-Kit/p/CW-8960091

Corsair info:
https://help.corsair.com/hc/en-us/a...n-Elite-Capellix-cooler-to-an-LGA-1700-socket

"If you have an LGA 1200 or LGA 115X retention bracket, you can use our LGA 1700 Retrofit Kit to use your bracket to mount your Elite Capellix cooler with the Intel Alder Lake processor."

2) Get the whole mounting kit:

I haven't used those particular Dell monitors, but Dell generally is pretty good. I haven't used any larger than 23 inches and I always want the models that have speakers.

May God have mercy on your soul if you have to deal with Dell customer service. Be prepared to repeat your entire story every time you call in and you'll have to do that many times.
