I just got one of these from Microcenter the other day: https://www.microcenter.com/product...80-pcie-nvme-30-x4-internal-solid-state-drive
Obviously I haven't had it that long to give a proper review but it seems very fast and has good reviews from other places I looked online. There are also .5 and 1TB models if you don't want a 2.
Inland seems to be a microcenter brand that was unfamiliar to me.
While the price is nice, a cursory search for info suggests to me that you may want to avoid it:
Anybody here has installed an Inland Professional SSD sold by Micro Center? How reliable are theses SSDs? I see that the prices are well in comparison if
I considered the Intel 660 as well but remember the QLC vs TLC difference as well. Inland has TLC durability. Reddit threads (unreliable as they are) mention it using similar hardware to this https://www.anandtech.com/show/1395...a80-ssd-review-phison-e12-with-newer-firmware I've seen way more positive reviews with no issues than ones about hardware failures so I'm just backing things up to another inexpensive HDD and enjoying my equal speed to more expensive brands for a lot cheaper price with a 3-year warranty. If it breaks after that I'd probably be looking at upgrades anyway. Just something to consider. Best of luck with your search.
