Suggest Ram modules.

My processor is Intel C2D e8500. My mobo is Asus p5k-vm and i use 800mhz ram from transcend (2*2gb dual channel).
I read somewhere that the ram frequency and fsb of processor should match. If this holds, than my processors fsb is 1333mhz but ram is at 800mhz.
I am not an overclocker but i also dont want to downgrade the processors performance due to ram frequencies.
Should i upgrade to ddr3 that runs at 1333mhz??
Will this significantly increase the cpu performance???

No. Your ram and cpu fsb can be different. The motherboard has built in ratios that select the proper speed based on your ram and how many slots are populated. Factor in overclocking if your board permits it.
