The M.2 drives offered in capacities above 32GB that are within budget are not much faster than SATA SSDs. Sorry mate, I know you guys really get hammered over prices in India. It would take almost double your budget to get an M.2 SSD that was faster than SATA.

If an M.2 SSD performs the same as a SATA SSD, then just go with the SATA SSD and save yourself some money. Due to its compressed form factor, M.2 SSDs are much more expensive than SATA SSDs.
By "normal SSD" do you mean a 2.5 inch SSD that looks like a mini hard drive and connects via SATA?

The advantage of an M.2 drive is many. Not only is the connection speed faster, but it can be working on more transfers at once than SATA can. Since M.2 is PCIe based, it has no problem dealing with a metric crap ton of commands at once.

Basically, M.2 offers outstanding performance at a higher price.

normal SSD and M2 have different interfaces, SATA vs M2. if you get a M2 NVMe drive the speed will be greatly increased. M2 requires a matching slot on the motherboard or a PCIe to M2 adapter.
there are some m2 SSD's that have the exact same performance as a SATA SSD. be sure to check the IOPs and Write/Read speeds.

The last SSD I personally used was the adata SP550 240GB SATA SSD.
