Suggested dvd burder

hey everyone,
I am looking to install a dvd burner to my dell dimensions 8400. Anyone have any suggestions on one that would work with my computer? Sorry guys I am a ignorant when it comes to computers.

Any internal SATA burner should work just fine. I personally prefer burners that can report raw read error rates so that you can judge the quality of your burns. Unfortunately it's difficult to find out which ones can and which ones can't. The burner I have (which can) is a LiteOn iHAS 424.

I have used this ASUS is quite a few builds with no problems. A little loud but super cheap and reliable.
