I'm working with two computers that use Linux Mint. One had an old PCIe wifi card that was only 2.4 gHz. I'd like to upgrade both of them to 2.4/5 gHz PCIe cards. But none of the listed cards from EDUP to the no-name cards are listed for Linux. Am I going to be stuck with the inferior USB wifi connections, or do some of these have hidden abilities to work with Linux PC's?

Addendum: On second thought, it might be easier to get a USB 3.0 wifi adapter for the older machine. But the older machine doesn't have a USB 3.0 port. In this setup, I'd add a PCIe USB 3.0 card and hook the wifi through that. However, again, I can't find any USB 3.0 cards that say they'll work with Linux, only Windows. Would somebody know of such a card? Two of the 3.0 ports or up would be good. Thanks for pointing a noob in the right direction.
