hello, i am looking to upgrade from my current set up to a 7800x3d or maybe a 14700kf... i currently have a 9700k that is finely tuned to run at a 4.3 normal speeds and sometimes up to 4.7ghz on turbo while undervolted to run at a precise 65c temp with a air cooler installed.. along with it is a MSI B360-VH mATX board and 32 gigs of DDr4 2666mhz ram no storage or PSU just CPU ram cooler and MB.. just looking at what i could get.. anyway, positive posts please.

when selling the CPU put it back to its default settings? why? it was previously running at 85C for just a meir 200 mhz more

hmm, perhaps. its interesting information. that will be something to ask a buyer if they want to default if it comes around to finally doing my upgrade and selling the components

The OC/UV settings are held in the motherboard, not the CPU.

And if you take everything apart, how would you return it to stock settings if that is what the new buyer wants.

initially for sometime. i wont.. i will probably ship it all ready to play basically. the cooler isnt big suprisingly, quite amazed for what it is, that it keeps my 9700k cool af for how hard i push it sometimes 18 hours a day. never exceeds 63c. it just runs soo much more smoother and better than when it was actually OCd.

Those 4 parts are NOT 'ready to play'.

Case, PSU, drives....

I'm just saying..I know what I would prefer if I was buying that.
