Title says it all, having recently acquired a bitchin' rig for the low low price of 100$, I am now looking a suitable replacement for the lackluster graphics card, it can handle most games just fine at 1024x768, but like all pcgamers, I want more.

My specs are
AMD Phenom ii x4 955 black edition at 3.2 ghz
4GB Ram
520 Watt Power supply (So I can go pretty high with the upgrades)
120GB SSD and 500GB HDD
Thermaltake Core V1 with a shit ton of fans, 2 200mm fans on the front and side, aftermarket cpu cooler, 2 back exhaust fans, the whole shebang.

a wide range of graphics cards is welcomed, so I can get a good idea of what I can get for around 100-200$ Thanks in advance for any support.

Yes, The GTX 960 has a 6 pin header for an aux. power connection. Some even require a 6+2 pin. But you said you had a 520W PSU. If it doesn't have at least one 6-pin PCIe cable for a gfx card, the "500W" PSU is a cheap rip-off and not a safe PSU to use.

If you don't want a gpu that needs a 6pin power connector the 750ti is a good option. Asus, MSI, and Evga have all recently announced GTX 950s that do not have 6 pin connectors, but I don't think any retailers have them yet.
