Suggestion for a new budget(not exactly) Laptop

I missed the new year sale

Hello,
Need some suggestion:

My current Laptop:
Bought in 2017, Refurbished from Walmart. @USD 279
1TB HDD, 8GB RAM, touch screen.
Intel Core i3-6100U @ 2.30GHz
I am a semi casual gamer, forex trader and casual programmer (learning Python, Kotlin)
Currently I play few games like league of legends, Albion online and play hitman 2 occasionally. I plant to get hitman 3 soon. Do not plan to play anything else than these 3.
This laptop has been running good for a little over 3 years, but last 2 months It started this making sounds in the fan area. I Opened the laptop and cleaned the fan twice, but the problem persists. Although the laptop is working fine and I can still play games. But I think its time for a change and get a branded laptop.

So here in East coast of Canada, Acer is a top (& cheaper) brand.
I was looking at some models and have shortlisted 3. I need suggestion to choose one.

1. Acer Aspire 5, A515-55-52J9

• 15.6" Full HD (1920 x 1080) 16:9
• 20 GB, DDR4 SDRAM
• 512 GB SSD

Isn't 1 GHz less than 2.3ghz?

• AMD Ryzen 5 4500U processor Hexa-core 2.30 GHz
• AMD Radeon™ shared memory
• 15.6" Full HD (1920 x 1080) 16:9
• 12 GB, DDR4 SDRAM
• 512 GB SSD

Shared memory? what's that?

I have used AMD before back in 2014/15 I had a desktop computer with AMD Bulldozer FX 4130 Black Edition processor. so I am ok with AMD processors in general.

The prices are roughly the same, (+/- $50).
Are these good for casual gaming, programming, stock/forex trading and overall speed of applications?
I want to know your inputs & I am also open for any suggestions or any other sellers in Canada.

Get the one with Ryzen 7 4700U. It should be more than sufficient for your requirements. In fact, Ryzen 5 is also enough but just for the sake of future proofing, I would recommend you to go with the Ryzen 7 model. I would like to let you know that Aspire 5 does not have that great build quality. It's not trash but it is made up of polycarbonate. If you want a better built laptop with metal casing, then for a little more money Swift 3 is a better pick overall. However, RAM on Swift 3 is not user upgradable.
