Hi, I am currently using Corsair DDR4 lpx2400 8gb.
my motherboard: Gigabyte AB350 -gaming3
mainly looking to upgrade frequency first, like 3000hz or 3200hz,but i am confused what to do. i want to go for dual channel this time but i do not want to stick with 2400hz ,need to upgrade.
so i made two options for myself:
1. go for 1x16GB 3000hz/3200hz
or
2. 2x16GB 3000hz/3200hz
Need suggestions for dual channel kits or if i can do anything better.open to hear other ideas and solutions.

Thanks in advance

Trying to upgrade bit by bit ,RAM then 2-4Tb HDD or maybe 2TB SSD as per savings :p or if i drop thought of upgrading ram then i will wait for DDR5 kits as they are ready but not launched in market yet, chances to get out in 2021 as expected
the same as me, i use a ddr3 rig (Xeon E3 1240 v2 + Gigabyte B75M HD3), and wait till ddr5 price is a bit stable. its pretty decent at 22nm 4core 8thread yet i custom timed my ddr3 1600, it still deliver great performance and i wouldnt spent much more for ddr4, so yeah investing money at ddr5 is better since its arrival to market is near, and yet Zen4 will use ddr5.

it is better to save money on 2666mhz kit since original zen imc arnt that strong compared to Zen+, Zen2,3. also what are you going to use that much ram for?
