Not sure if Intel fanboy? He's going to video edit. The FX will do FAR better than ANY Intel CPU at the same price point

I agree that intel has more powerful cpus than amd but he is going for video editing. He needs as much cores as he can get.

i7s has hyper threading (virtual cores). But at this price 8350 is the best to choose for. I said to go for i7, because he didn't mention the budget.

Well if it wasn't the price everyone would have intel cpus. And again intel 4 cores 8 treads and amd 8 cores 8 threads. But here you have 4GHz and 4.2GHz on boost. Intel cpu would be very expensive

Haha truth!

Yes this is the sad truth.

Also, there is more chance for *NO* FX series processors from AMD in 2016. Even if they release it, it won't be AM3+ socket because, they won't release CPUs with 5 years old AM3+ socket (by 2016). So, you might need to upgrade mobo too along with the CPU too.

OP'll be fine with the 8350. He won't have to upgrade. The 8350 is a good CPU. A little old, but good

In india fx8350 and intel i54670k has around 50usd price difference.May be I can lower my gpu to 750ti and select i5 4670k.

I will be using nvidia graphic card because of cuda cores.
